Who are they?
Ever since it was founded in Paris in the early 2000s, the Quatuor Caliente has been attracting attention on the Tango Nuevo scene. Formed by four eclectic and passionate musicians, the group won the ?Piazzolla Music Award? at Milan?s Blue Note Jazz Club in 2004, before recording its highly successful debut album ?Libertango? for the Aeon / Harmonia Mundi label.
A place inhabited since prehistoric times
On the banks of the River Vézère, Le Bugue was once a border town between the English and French troops, and legend has it that Saint Louis stopped here on his way to the Crusades. A large market has been held here every Tuesday since the 14th century. Visit Quatuor Caliente invites you to experience an unforgettable musical experience in a setting of rare elegance. An aperitif will be served at the concert venue, by the river.
